ADMINISTRATION WING
HMI provides an excellent administration to its trainees during their stay at HMI. The effort is always on to further improve the quality of life and of training at HMI.
HOSTEL ACCOMODATION:
Students attending courses of instruction at HMI are accommodated in well furnished Hostel adjoining the Administration block. It can accommodate 120 students at a time. Trainees are saved sumptuous hot meals in the dinning hall. |

MEDICAL:
Medical inspection room (MI Room) is looked after by Medical Officer and nursing Assistant and is equipped with latest medical equipment providing medical cover to trainees both during indoor as well as outdoor training. |

EQUIPMENT:
The equipment wing provides the latest mountaineering gear to its trainees, free of cost. Jayal Memorial Fund Store provides equipment to adventure lovers on hire at very nominal charges. |

PROVIDES VISITORS AND TRAINEES WITH VARIOUS KINDS OF MEMENTOS, LITERATURES prospectus , souvenirs etc; covering HMI Activities. |

HMI RESTAURANT & TEA PARLOUR:
On persistent demand of student & visitors, the institute has opened a new Restaurants tea parlour where one can have delicious food. It is the only place in Darjeeling where you can taste all varieties of different brands of Darjeeling tea. |

PCO, Cyber Cafe & ICE CREAM PARLOUR:
Has been recently opened to meet the requirement of both tourists and trainees. We also plan to open an internet café shortly. HMI is an ideal place to enjoy one’s visit to Darjeeling. |
